April 29th marks President Obama’s first 100 days in the Oval Office. It is a time to reflect on how the president has been able to deliver on his many campaign promises. Make no mistake - the policies we’ve seen come out of Washington now that the Democrats occupy both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue represent some of the most reckless spending, borrowing and taxing America has ever seen, with a fair share of broken promises thrown in for good measure.
But I believe President Obama’s first 100 days in office is more than simply an opportunity to provide a report card on his term thus far. I believe his first 100 days offer America a frightening glimpse of the liberal far-left’s true goals for our nation - to mount an all - out assault on the principles of capitalism and free markets that are the backbone of our country and transform America into a “collectivist,” or “socialist” nation.
Led by Nancy Pelosi - whose San Francisco-brand of liberalism can now run unchecked - the Democrats have demonstrated an arrogance of power that uses the economic recession as a smokescreen to enact their liberal agenda.
